    I'm new to this device and i don't have any idea how to add BYD (Chines car company) diagnostic to my maxisys ms906

     Maybe you purchased a USA market unit that does not include the Chinese Car selections. I live in the USA  and 2 years ago ordered new  DS708 from Amazon and it included Chinese cars ,I think I might have even updated some of the makes  but never seen any Chinese cars here to fix , so don't know if the software it has even works or not.
